Terms of service

You must be legally able to enter an agreement and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for account security, workspace activity and ensuring collaborators have appropriate authority.

You may use Maniac only in compliance with applicable law, these terms and the policies of any connected AI provider.

Subscriptions provide access to the features and production limits associated with your plan. Fees are billed in advance and renew until cancelled. Taxes may apply.

Plan features may evolve. If a material reduction affects a paid plan, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.

Subscription credits cover generation as described on the Pricing page. Generation is performed through Maniac's own third-party AI provider accounts.

Provider availability, output, moderation, latency and pricing are controlled by that provider. Maniac is not responsible for a provider's service interruption or policy decision.

You retain the rights you hold in production content submitted to Maniac. You grant Maniac a limited permission to host, process, transmit and display that content solely to operate and secure the service.

Rights in AI-generated output can vary by provider, jurisdiction and underlying material. You are responsible for reviewing output and ensuring you have rights to inputs, references, voices, likenesses, music and final distribution.

You may not use Maniac to violate rights, impersonate people deceptively, distribute unlawful or abusive material, bypass safeguards, interfere with the service, probe systems without authorization, resell access unlawfully or generate content prohibited by applicable provider policies.

We may restrict activity that creates a security, legal or operational risk.

Maniac, its interface, documentation, trademarks and underlying software are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms grant a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service while your account remains authorized.

Feedback may be used to improve the product without an obligation to compensate you.

You may stop using the service or cancel a subscription through account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, material breach, abuse, security risk or legal requirement.

Before closing a workspace, export production material you need. Data handling after closure follows the Privacy Policy.

Maniac and AI-generated outputs are provided on an “as available” basis. Generated content may be inaccurate, inconsistent, incomplete or unsuitable and requires human review.

To the extent permitted by law, Maniac excludes implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss. Any aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We may update these terms and will revise the date above. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions can be submitted through the support channel available in your account.
